Rosa Castro Bernieri is a Ph.D. candidate for the European Doctorate in
Law and Economics at the University of Bologna and Erasmus Rotterdam
University. She holds a law degree from Venezuela and a Master degree
in Law and Economics from the University of Bologna and Hamburg
University. She has been a visiting fellow at the Erasmus Rotterdam
University and Max Plank Institute for Intellectual Property, Competition
and Tax Law and has lectured on `Industrial property' and `Comparative
Law and Economics' courses at the University of Bologna. She is the
author of several articles and short pieces about intellectual property and
investment and her current research focuses on the law and economics of
patent law.
Valeria Falce, LUISS Guido Carli and Università Europea di Roma, Italy
Valeria Falce, Ph.D. in Competititon Law, LL M, London School of
Economics, is Assistant Professor in Commercial Law at the Università
Europea di Roma, where she teaches Commercial Law, Intellectual
Property and Competition Law. Dr. Falce is Senior Research Fellow at
the Intellectual Property, Competition and Communications Observatory,
LUISS Guido Carli University of Rome. She has been appointed as
Independent Expert of the Italian Committee for the Reform of Copyright
and has extensively published in competition law, IP and regulation. Her
publications include Profili Pro-concorrenziali Dell'istituto Brevettuale
(Giuffrè ed., 2008).
