Acknowledgments
As with any other project of this kind, we owe a debt of gratitude to a
number of persons and institutions for their support and cooperation.
We received valuable support both for the Corporate Governance in the
Post, Post World symposium hosted by the New Zealand Governance
Centre at The University of Auckland in April 2010 and in bringing out
this volume of the papers presented at the symposium. In particular, we
are grateful to The University of Auckland for providing financial support
for the symposium. Funding from the Law Foundation of Ontario and
The University of Auckland was helpful in securing student and editorial
support for this volume, and we express our thanks.
Michelle Boodhoo and Marissa Kirsh, law students at the University
of Ottawa, and Julie McMeikan of Auckland, New Zealand, provided
invaluable help by carrying out style and citation checks and proofread-
ing. Their assistance made our editorial task simpler and more enjoyable.
We have valued working with Ben Booth and John-Paul Macdonald at
