Abstract/Description:

The nexus between natural resources and WTO rules is not easy to define; indeed, it is the subject of considerable debate. In 2010, the WTO made “trade in natural resources” the exclusive focus of its World Trade Report and set out to examine the contemporary characteristics of natural resources trade, policy opportunities and challenges faced by WTO Members in this regard and, finally, the way in which natural resources fit within the disciplines of the WTO Agreement.
