This chapter examines climate litigation in the Asia Pacific region. While the vast majority of climate lawsuits have been filed in the United States and Europe, climate litigation can also be observed in Australia and New Zealand. The chapter also examines the potential for climate litigation in jurisdictions where climate litigation is currently absent such as India and the Philippines.
