Laura Anderson is a Partner at Bristows LLP specializing in intellectual property
transactions. She advises on a broad range of commercial transactions relating to
intellectual property rights, their development, and their exploitation. Her practice
covers a number of industry sectors including food and drink, consumer products,
pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology. She advises leading brand owners on transactions
for the exploitation of their trademark assets including licensing, franchising, strategic
collaborations, and the establishment of holding structures.
Nicolas Binctin is a Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Poitiers. He
teaches Business and Intellectual Property Law in its various components at the
University of Poitiers, the University of Paris XII-UPEC, and the School of Law and
Management of the University Paris II Assas-Panthéon. In 2015, he was invited as a
visiting professor by the Academy of OAPI, Cameroun. He is the author of a thesis
entitled Le Capital Intellectuel (LexisNexis 2007) and has published many articles in
French and English. The 3rd edition of his book on French and European Intellectual
Property Law was published in September 2014 by Lextenso-LGDJ.
Gregor Bühler is a Partner in the Intellectual Property/Information Technology
practice group of Homburger AG, Switzerland. He graduated from the University of
St. Gallen in 1990, receiving his doctorate in 1995. He was a visiting scholar at the
Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property in Munich and earned an LL.M. degree
