EDITORS
Nathalie Chalifour is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law,
University of Ottawa and Co-Director of the Centre for Environmental
Law and Global Sustainability. Her main area of research is environ-
mental law and policy, with a focus on the intersection between the
environment, the economy and social justice. Her publications address a
variety of topics, including climate change, carbon taxation, environ-
mental justice, the green economy, brownfields, environmental assess-
ment, sustainable food policy and environmental human rights. Prior to
joining the Law Faculty, Prof. Chalifour was senior advisor to the
President of the National Round Table on the Environment and the
Economy; Policy Advisor to the World Wildlife Fund; founded TRAFFIC
Canada; and taught at the University of Nairobi, Kenya. She obtained her
Doctorate of Law at Stanford University, and holds a Master in Juridical
Sciences which she obtained as a Stanford Fellow and Fulbright Scholar.
Jordi Jaria i Manzano, BA and LLB (Universitat de Barcelona), Ph.D,
European Doctorate Mention (Universitat Rovira i Virgili), is Serra
Húnter Fellow of Constitutional and Environmental Law at Universitat
Rovira i Virgili (URV), in Tarragona (Catalonia). He is also Researcher at
the Tarragona Centre for Environmental Law Studies, CEDAT, in the
same University. Professor Jaria i Manzano is Executive Editor of the
Revista Catalana de Dret Ambiental [Catalan Journal of Environmental
Law] and was Director of the Masters Programme on Environmental Law
in the URV. His research is focused on environmental justice, global
constitutionalism, comparative law, federalism ...
