Maurice Adams is Professor of General Jurisprudence at Tilburg Law
School (the Netherlands). Since 2012 he has also been Professor of
Democratic Governance and Rule of Law (`v-fonds' chair) at Tilburg
Law School. In his research he has a particular interest in the rule of law
(rechtsstaat), in the relation between (constitutional) law and politics,
as well as comparative law. Maurice Adams is an elected member of the
Académie Internationale de droit comparé.
Koen van Aeken is trained in social and political sciences and inter-
national relations and obtained a PhD (University of Antwerp 2002) with
a socio-legal dissertation on the reasoning and method of evaluation of
legislation. Based at Tilburg Law School and Antwerp University, he is
committed to empirical research and teaching on the intersections of law
and society. Domains of interests include regulation and governance,
participatory governance, empirical research methods for lawyers and a
global sociology of law.
Arpan Banerjee is Assistant Professor, Assistant Dean and Executive
Director of the Centre for Intellectual Property and Technology Law at
Jindal Global Law School, India. His main areas of interest are intel-
lectual property law, media law and entertainment law. He is currently
based at Bucerius Law School, Germany, as a recipient of the German
Chancellor's Fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
Emre Bayamliolu is a researcher at the Tilburg Institute for Law,
Technology and Society at Tilburg University. Before joining TILT in
2015, he worked in several universities in Istanbul lecturing ...
