Frederick M. Abbott is Edward Ball Eminent Scholar Professor of International Law at Florida State University College of Law, USA. He has served as expert consultant and legal representative for numerous international and regional organizations, governments and non-governmental organizations, mainly in the fields of intellectual property and technology transfer, public health, trade, competition, and sustainable development. He was a member of the Expert Advisory Group to the UN Secretary General's High Level Panel on Access to Medicines. He is Co-Chair of the ILA Committee on Global Health Law. He serves as panelist for the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center. Professor Abbott is the author of many books and articles. Annyssa Bellal is the Strategic Adviser on International Humanitarian Law and Senior Research Fellow at the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights. She is also a Senior Lecturer in international law at Sciences Po, Paris. She edited and authored the War Report 2014 (Oxford University Press, 2015), 2016 and 2017 (Geneva Academy) and is the author of several articles on various IHL and human rights law issues, including an award-winning article on `International Law and Armed Non-State Actors in Afghanistan' (International Review of the Red Cross, 2011, SNIS Geneva Award 2011). Céline Brassart Olsen is a post-doctoral researcher at Copenhagen University's Faculty of Law.
