Pablo Arellano Ortiz is Labour Law Specialist at the Labour Law and
Reform Unit, Governance and Tripartism Department, International
Labour Office and Researcher at the Faculty of Law, Pontificia Univer-
sidad Católica de Valparaíso, Chile.
Catherine Barnard is Professor of European Union Law and Employ-
ment Law and Senior Tutor at Trinity College, Cambridge. Her expertise
lies in the field of European Union law, especially migration law, and
employment law.
Alysia Blackham is Associate Professor and Australian Research Coun-
cil Discovery Early Career Research Fellow at Melbourne Law
School, University of Melbourne. Her research focuses on the inter-
section of employment law, equality law and public law, using empirical
evidence to cast new light on legal problems.
Elmarie Fourie is Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department of Public
Law at the Faculty of Law at the University of Johannesburg. She has
been part of various task teams preparing legal opinions to government
departments and drafting legislation for South African Development
Community (SADC) countries.
Avinash Govindjee is Executive Dean of the Faculty of Law at the
Nelson Mandela University in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. He is a
Consulting Attorney to the firm Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr, a part-time
Senior Commissioner of the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and
Arbitration (CCMA) and an associate of the International Institute for
Social Law and Policy (IISLP).
