Abstract/Description:

Slovenia was the first state of the former Yugoslavia to join the European Union and to adopt a legal regulation of insolvency proceedings of natural persons. Bankruptcy proceedings and discharge are regulated by the Financial Operations, Insolvency Proceedings and Compulsory Dissolution Act, in force since 16 January 2008.
