Abstract/Description:

This chapter provides commentary on the Optional Protocol to the CRC on the Sale of Children, Child Prostitution and Child Pornography (OPSC). The chapter explores key legal questions linked to the use of terminology, criminalisation/penalisation of offenses, issues linked to jurisdiction, judicial cooperation, protection of child victims and prevention. It also sets out the relationship of the OPSC to arts 34, 35 and 39 of the CRC.
