Maria Bergström is an Associate Professor of European Law, Faculty of Law, Uppsala
University, Sweden.
Nabil Bhatia graduated from York University with a BA in Criminology and Political Science
in 2017 and an MA from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs in 2019.
Currently he is a researcher and analyst working on Canadian national security issues. His
research focuses primarily on global jihadism, comparative counter-terrorism, and radicalisa-
tion to violence.
Lennon Yao-Chung Chang is a Senior Lecturer in Criminology in the School of Social
Sciences at Monash University. He is a Visiting Fellow with the Australian Strategic Policy
Institute, a visitor with the Cybercrime Observatory at the Australian National University
and a fellow with the International Cybercrime Research Centre at Simon Fraser University,
Canada. He is the Vice Chairman of the Asia Pacific Association of Technology and Society
which he co-founded in 2012. He is also the founder of Cyberbaykin: Myanmar Cyber Security
Awareness campaign. Dr Chang is particularly interested in the regulation and governance of
cyberspace in the Asia-Pacific region. He is currently researching cybercrime, cyber-deviance,
the co-production of cyber security and internet vigilantism in the Indo-Pacific region.
Duncan Chappell, an Australian lawyer and criminologist, is an Honorary Professor in
the Faculty of Law at the University of Sydney and a Conjoint Professor in the School
