An Ordinance to amend the Advisory Council Ordinance 1986

Short title

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Advisory Council (Amendment) Ordinance 1987.¹

Principal Ordinance

2. In this Ordinance, “Principal Ordinance” means the Advisory Council Ordinance 1986.²

Constitution of Council

3. Section 6 of the Principal Ordinance is amended—

(a) by omitting paragraph (1) (b) and substituting the following paragraph:

“(b) such other Councillors as are appointed.”; and

(b) by omitting from sub-section (4) “or vacancies in the membership of the Council” and substituting “in the office of President”.

Meetings

4. Section 10 of the Principal Ordinance is amended by omitting sub-section (3).
