DEVELOPMENT ACT 1993, SECTION 22:
NOTICE OF ASSIGNMENT OF FUNCTIONS OF APPROPRIATE MINISTER
Notice by the
Governor’s Deputy
Preamble
1. Section 22 of the Development
Act 1993 provides for the assignment by the Governor of specified statutory
functions to an appropriate Minister and the preparation and maintenance of the
Planning Strategy by the appropriate Minister.
2. The functions of the
appropriate Minister are currently assigned to the Premier.
3. It is appropriate that those
functions be now assigned to the Minister for Urban Development and
Planning.
NOTICE
PURSUANT to section 22 of the
Development Act 1993 and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, I
assign to the Minister for Urban Development and Planning the functions of the
appropriate Minister for the purposes of section 22 of the Development Act
1993.
