CRIMES (SEXUAL OFFENCES) ACT 2006 (NO 2 OF 2006) - SECT 24

In section 3(1) of the Evidence Act 1958 —

        (a)         insert the following definitions—

' "child" means a person who is under the age of 18 years;

"cognitive impairment" includes impairment because of mental illness, intellectual disability, dementia or brain injury;';

        (b)     the definition of "impaired" is repealed .
