GREENHOUSE GAS GEOLOGICAL SEQUESTRATION ACT 2008 (NO. 61 OF 2008) - SECT 17
Offence to explore for greenhouse gas sequestration formations unless authorised
A person must not carry out any greenhouse gas sequestration formation
exploration activity in Victoria except—
(a) under, and in accordance with,
an authority; or
(b) as otherwise permitted by this
Act.
Penalty: 240 penalty units.
