JURY DIRECTIONS AND OTHER ACTS AMENDMENT ACT 2017 (NO. 37 OF 2017) - SECT 23

At the end of Schedule 6 to the Juries Act 2000 insert —

        "     17     Jury Directions and Other Acts Amendment Act 2017

    (1)     The amendments made to section 39 by section 21 of the Jury Directions and Other Acts Amendment Act 2017 apply only in relation to a criminal trial that commences on or after the day on which section 21 of that Act comes into operation.

    (2)     The amendments made to section 46 by section 22 of the Jury Directions and Other Acts Amendment Act 2017 apply only in relation to a criminal trial that commences on or after the day on which section 22 of that Act comes into operation.".
