MARINE (DOMESTIC COMMERCIAL VESSEL NATIONAL LAW APPLICATION) ACT 2013 (NO. 36 OF 2013) - SECT 70

    (1)     For section 258(1)(d) of the Marine Safety Act 2010 substitute —

    "(d)     to develop appropriate standards for the safe construction, equipment and operation of recreational vessels, and to take steps to ensure that those standards are maintained; and".

    (2)     Section 258(1)(e) of the Marine Safety Act 2010 is repealed .

    (3)     In section 258(1)(g) of the Marine Safety Act 2010 omit "or a certificate of competency".

    (4)     At the foot of section 258(1) of the Marine Safety Act 2010 insert —

The Safety Director may also have functions as a delegate under the Marine Safety (Domestic Commercial Vessel) National Law.".
