Victorian Numbered Acts Victorian Numbered Acts(1) Despite anything to the contrary in the Building Act 1993 , the Minister administering that Act may, by Order published in the Government Gazette, declare that the administration and enforcement in relation to all or part of an approved project of any of the provisions of that Act and the regulations made under that Act is to be carried out by the project authority or any other person or body specified in the Order and in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Order.
(2) The Building Act 1993 and the regulations under that Act apply for the purpose of this section as if a reference to a council or a relevant building surveyor or a municipal building surveyor were a reference to the project authority or the relevant person or body specified in an Order under this section.
