COMPENSATION LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 2016 (NO. 73 OF 2016) - SECT 11

    (1)     In section 3 of the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013 —

        (a)     insert the following definition—

" ACCS means the Accident Compensation Conciliation Service established under section 519;";

        (b)     in paragraph (b) of the definition of Conciliation Officer , for "section 523(2)" substitute "section 531";

        (c)     for the definition of Conciliation Service substitute —

""Conciliation Service" means the Accident Compensation Conciliation Service established under section 52A of the Accident Compensation Act 1985 as in force immediately before 1 July 2014;";

        (d)     in the definition of "Senior Conciliation Officer", for "section 523(1)" substitute "section 530".

    (2)         In section 3 of the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013 , for the definition of retirement age substitute —

"" retirement age", in relation to a worker, means the age at which the worker attains pension age within the meaning of the Social Security Act 1991 of the Commonwealth;".
