COMPENSATION LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 2016 (NO. 73 OF 2016) - SECT 12

    (1)     In section 44(1)(b)(iii) of the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013 , after "the Crimes Act 1958 " insert "or a corresponding law".

    (2)     After section 44(1) of the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013 insert —

    "(1A)     For the purposes of this section, the Minister may by Order published in the Government Gazette declare a law of another State or a Territory, including a law that has been repealed or has expired, to be a corresponding law for the purposes of this section.".
