COMPENSATION LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 2016 (NO. 73 OF 2016) - SECT 17

    (1)     In section 593(1) of the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013 —

        (a)     in paragraph (c) omit "with a person on
the premises who is apparently at least 16 years old";

        (b)     in paragraph (d) omit "with a person who is apparently employed at the premises and who is apparently at least 16 years old".

    (2)     After section 593(2) of the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013 insert —

    "(2A)     For the purposes of this section, service of a document that is sent by post is taken to have been effected 2 business days from the date of posting, unless the contrary is proved.".
